F10 Germicidal Barrier Ointment 25g

OVERVIEW

F10 Germicidal Barrier Ointment is useful and effective in the treatment of open wounds to prevent infection and to protect against reinfection from bacteria, fungi, and viruses. The ointment allows better adhesion to wounds with less mess and has a longer efficiency period compared to antiseptic sprays. Peak efficiency with a contact time of 10 minutes, however, best results occur with repeated applications until the condition resolves.

INDICATION

The F10 Germicidal Barrier Ointment is effective in the treatment of several conditions in both dogs and cats. It may serve as an effective alternative to antibiotic topical treatment under the advice of your veterinarian. This product can be used alone in the treatment of minor injuries but should be used in conjunction with other medication under the advice of your veterinarian for reoccurring conditions.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS

Remove all organic material and clean the wound using an antiseptic solution. Once a day, apply a layer of the ointment over the entire wound site. Repeat daily or as directed by your veterinarian. Take care to repeat the cleaning procedure before each application. Replace the cap after each use and only use as directed by the label.

ACTIVE CONSTITUENTS

Benzalkonium chloride 0.40g/100g, Polyhexanide 0.03g/100g, Glycol 83.50g/100g, Lanolin 4.00g/100g, and non-toxic excipients to balance.

RELATED PRODUCTS

For the best application of the ointment, consider using Gauze Swabs or a cotton pad to apply the ointment evenly to the wound site.
