The Vetario TM Intensive Care Unit combines sensible engineering with innovative safety features. Digital temperature control ensures a stable internal environment, while real-time temperature readings are clearly displayed on the control panel. A gentle fan system circulates filtered air evenly throughout the chamber, maintaining consistent warmth without creating drafts.

Both models are oxygen compatible and fitted with oxygen connectors, allowing safe use with elevated oxygen concentrations when clinically indicated.

Advanced Airflow and Infection Control

A carefully engineered airflow system maintains a slight positive pressure inside the chamber. Air is circulated through twin-stage dust filters, removing airborne bacteria and fungi before entering the patient area. Exhaust air exits through adjustable vents and around the door seal, helping prevent airborne contaminants from reaching the patient.

This controlled airflow design supports infection control while ensuring a continuous supply of fresh, filtered air.

Integrated Humidity Management

To reduce the risk of dehydration during intensive care, the Vetario TM features a removable water reservoir with evaporating block, mounted discreetly beneath the ceiling. Humidity levels are displayed digitally, and the fresh air exchange rate can be adjusted via the door-mounted vent control.

An EX Humidity Pump is available as an optional accessory for precise humidity control.

Oxygen Safety and Compliance

While oxygen therapy is often essential, elevated oxygen levels increase combustion risk. The Vetario TM Intensive Care Units are engineered to safely manage these risks and are independently tested by BSI for compliance with international and Australian standards, including:

Practical Hygiene and Easy Cleaning

Hygiene is prioritised throughout the design. The lower cabinet and door can be fully removed for scrubbing or immersion cleaning. The upper cabinet is made from smooth, gloss-finish ABS plastic, which is quick to wipe down. The fan guard detaches easily, allowing access to clean the fan, while the heater is encased in a metal tube for safe, straightforward cleaning.

All control electronics are housed away from the chamber to improve reliability and longevity.
