Wound Gard 50ml

Wound-Gard 50ml is an antiseptic spray that helps with the prevention of infection in open wounds and helps with their treatment in both dogs and cats. The spray comes with a bitter taste which will ensure your pet will no longer bite the wound, thus helping the healing process.

Ingredients:

• Chlorhexidine Gluconate
• Menthol
• Denatonium Benzoate
• Phenoxyethanol
• Eucalyptus Oil

Antiseptic and Antifungal Activity – Wound-Gard treats and prevents wounds from infection, so wound healing can occur.

Bittering Agent – The strongly bitter taste is formulated to dissuade the animal from licking the wound and biting at sutures. The wound is left alone by the animal and heals over a shorter period of time.

Mild Local Anaesthetic – Further prevents self-mutilation and encourages normal wound healing.

Spray Bottle – Safe to use on wounds and is easily applied by the owner. Great product for clients to have in their animal’s First Aid Kit.

RECOMMENDED FOR:

• Dogs and cats with wounds, particularly where protection of sutures is important or where infection is a possibility.
• Dogs and cats with eczema, dermatoses or granuloma.

HOW TO USE WOUND-GARD:

1. Shake bottle well before use.
2. Apply liberally to the affected area 3 times per day. As a guide, spray 3–4 pumps per 2cm length of wound.
