O-Ring Syringe 3ml (Luer Lock)

O-Ring Syringe 3ml (Luer Lock) is primarily stocked as the fit onto any size Miracle Nipple (Original, Mini or Large). The silicone o-ring offers smooth gliding and less friction, meaning that puppies and kittens are usually able to suck the plunger down themselves. The plunger does not get tacky like regular syringes, therefore they have better reuse. However, after multiple uses, the print on the barrel washes off.

Cleaning and Care

We preface this section by reiterating that this syringe is manufactured and sold as a single-use item. However, in most cases, breeders and carers choose to re-use them. After each use, remove the plunger from the syringe barrel and rinse off, before washing them both in warm soapy water. Then rinse and leave to air dry. If sterilising is required, we do not recommend boiling or steaming, as this may cause shrinkage or warping. Choose a food-safe sterilising solution instead, such as Milton or F10SC, but don’t leave them soaking too long, as the ink may wash off.
