Balanced Cal 250g

OVERVIEW

Balanced Cal is a balanced calcium and phosphorus supplement for dogs, cats, and horses. It is suitable for all stages of life including pregnancy and lactation. This supplement aims to correct the calcium/phosphorus balance in meat and cereal diets, which is important in protecting skeletal health, productivity, and animal welfare. The recommended ratio of calcium/phosphorus is 1:1 for small animals and up to 2:1 for large animals.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Dogs and cats on a meat-only diet generally require 1 measure (4g) per 500g of meat fed. Horses being fed a grain only diet will require 1 measure (4g) per 400g of grain-fed or 2 measures (8g) per 400 g fed for a bran diet. These dosages are also available on the product label.

NOTE: There is a withholding period for greyhound racing. Do not administer Balanced Cal to greyhounds within 72 hours of racing.

COMPOSITION

363g/kg calcium (present as 907g/Kg calcium carbonate), 13g/kg phosphorus (present as 50g/kg sodium tripolyphosphate), and 2mg cholecalciferol (80,000 iu Vitamin D3).
